Job Summary
The Project Engineer is responsible for streamlining the planning and coordination of project initiatives while adhering to budgets, compliance regulations, and schedules. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting drawings, soliciting quotes from subcontractors, reviewing estimated productions, preparing schedules, managing job codes, and monitoring production while ensuring profit margins. The role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple construction site projects.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-4 years of previous related experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage budget, schedule, people, and quality of work
- Competence in performing complete project take-offs and estimates
Desired Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
