Job Summary
Independently develop complete engineering documentation packages, including detailed drawings, submittals, and equipment schedules, while verifying design accuracy and compliance with applicable codes. Serve as the primary engineering point of contact for assigned projects, coordinating with project managers, field supervisors, and external stakeholders to align design deliverables with installation schedules and resolve technical issues. Provide on-site technical guidance during installation and commissioning, collaborate with vendors to validate specifications, and track project milestones to identify and mitigate scheduling risks. Requires 3+ years of engineering experience, proficiency in CAD, and strong communication skills. Salary range $80-120K.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 3+ years' experience in engineering or coordination
- Proficient in CAD and design tools
- Strong understanding of low-voltage systems, including security, access control, fire alarm, AV, and related technologies
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
