Job Summary
Manage capital equipment projects from order receipt through shipment by organizing project elements, reviewing proposals, and developing design plans for Design Engineering. Schedule, plan, and forecast technical activities while monitoring progress, coordinating with suppliers and customers, and resolving problems to ensure on-time completion. Create and modify Bills-of-Materials in CAD and MER/ERP, prepare cost estimates, and conduct tests to confirm product performance. Review designs for compliance with specifications and industry regulations, oversee testing, and address non-conforming material issues. Prepare status reports and control project costs by analyzing trends and recommending actions to the Project Manager. Domestic and foreign travel is required to meet with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3 + years of related experience
- Professional experience w/ 3D CAD software
- Advanced MS Office Suite
- Knowledge and experience in machine design
- Skilled in time management, prioritizing and managing changing priorities
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Understanding and ability to safely work in a potentially explosive environment
- Employees are required to wear Nikkiso provided PPE as/when needed
- New Employee Safety Training
- Safety Awareness
- Job specific training modules deemed necessary by the employee's Manager or Director
- Overtime may be necessary as the workload dictates
- Travel between the NCI facility locations as required
Desired Qualifications
- SOLID-WORKS preferred
- EIT/PE preferred
