Project Engineer II

Job Summary
Communicate with customers to understand technical requirements, align expectations, and agree on project timelines. Support planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects to meet budget, timing, and quality targets. Analyze technical documentation and drawings to support project implementation and resolve technical issues. Monitor project progress and regularly report status to senior managers and/or customers. Cooperate with teams in Europe and contribute to effective cross-location and cross-functional collaboration. This role is based at Lear's fastest-growing Engineering Development Center in Plzeň, focusing on design and development of complex seating mechanisms and structures for major European OEMs.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in the automotive industry or in a comparable technical or engineering position
- Technical background with strong orientation toward engineering documentation and technical details
- Ability to solve complex technical problems using structured and analytical thinking
- Communicative and proactive working style, with the ability to interact directly with customers
- Fluent English required for customer and internal communication
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located
