Job Summary
Project Engineer will assist the project team with all administration and documentation of the construction project while providing support to assist the team in overseeing one to two trades on a larger project or many trades on smaller projects. Responsibilities include participation in preconstruction services (estimating, value engineering), tracking material procurement and deliveries, producing project schedules with the site superintendent, reviewing submittals, quoting/qualifying subcontractor change orders, tracking change orders and RFIs, collecting and distributing as-builts, maintaining close-out documents, assisting with field supervision, blueprint reading, quantity take-offs, subcontractor solicitations, document control, subcontractor coordination, and other duties. General hours are 7:30am-5pm, five days a week; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a degree related to the built environment is required.
- 2-3 years on the job experience is preferred.
- Experience with Blue Beam, Revit, and Procore.
- Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
