Job Summary
Manage assigned projects from purchase order receipt through manufacturing, shipment, and final closeout, ensuring all milestones, technical requirements, and delivery commitments are met. Review specifications, interpret engineering drawings, and develop schedules to coordinate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, purchasing, quality, and sales. Lead client kick-off meetings, issue manufacturing instructions, and provide technical support to shop personnel for design validation and issue resolution. Monitor progress, identify risks, and prepare status reports to maintain on-time shipments and successful project completion. This role supports the Project Management leadership team in process improvements within Piping Technology & Products, Inc.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- 2+ years in engineering roles related to industrial equipment, piping, structural components or similar products
- Working experience with project Management tools and generating status reports, schedules, and preparing technical specifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in engineering roles related to industrial equipment, piping, structural components or similar products
- Experience with MS Project for scheduling and project tracking
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
