Project Engineer I

Project Engineer I will assist Project Management and Field Supervision with safety, direction, completion and financial outcomes of construction projects from initial budget through closeout. Safety is the number one priority and Project Engineer I’s are expected to promote safe work practices. Work with team members at all levels of Project Management and Field Supervision to establish operational priorities and ensure a quality project, while maintaining positive relationships with internal and external project team members and support departments. Responsibilities include estimating, value engineering, developing budgets, facilitating subcontractor bid processes, processing and tracking project documentation, negotiating subcontracts and buyouts, planning and scheduling projects, managing ongoing project costs and forecast analysis, and performing project closeout. Position Qualifications include a B.S. in Construction, Engineering, or related field (preferred) and prior Co-Op/Internship experience in construction (preferred); strong written and verbal communication, self-motivation, teamwork, and detail orientation.
