Job Summary
Support and coordinate operational engineering projects from initiation through completion, managing planning, staffing, progress reporting, and troubleshooting. Ensure project results meet requirements for technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost while driving regulatory compliance for standards like ISO9000, ISO14000, and AS9100. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using trend analysis, assist in equipment setup and manufacturing layout evaluations, and provide ongoing direction on process development and root cause analysis. Interface with customers on quality issues, review supply discrepancies, and implement best-in-class practices. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering with 1-2 years of experience; domestic and international travel is necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience of engineering in manufacturing environment with focus in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical knowledge
- Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills
- 1-2 years work-related experience required in engineering or a related discipline
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
