Job Summary
Entry-level Construction Project Engineer to support management of large commercial construction projects across multiple Texas, Arizona, Florida, and Utah locations. Responsibilities include coordinating submittals, preparing/overseeing logs and reports (material logs, submittal logs, RFIs, drawing logs, long-lead items), assisting in quantity take-offs for construction estimates, verifying subcontractor payment requests, locating suppliers for building materials, and communicating with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. The role also involves assisting in cost estimates in the Estimating Department, participating in safety programs, and supporting close-out document preparation. Requires a B.S. in a related field, internship experience, and OSHA 30-Hour training. The company is 100% employee-owned and emphasizes safety, service, integrity, and growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in construction management/science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Internship experience with a construction company strongly preferred
- Successful completion of OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training required (may obtain within first year of employment)
- Entry level position
