Job Summary

Project Engineer supports the Project Manager to deliver the project on time and within budget. Serves as the primary liaison between the Project Manager, Design Team, and Owner, managing the full lifecycle of project documentation—including plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and O&M manuals. Responsible for tracking, reviewing, and negotiating project change orders to ensure financial and operational integrity. Duties include interpreting project plans, maintaining documentation control, managing field RFIs, assisting in scheduling, coordinating with subcontractors and the A/E team for submittals, obtaining building permits, coordinating change orders, supporting site safety documentation, documenting job progress, and preparing closeout materials.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • 2+ years' in field and project planning experience
  • Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software
  • Ability to comprehend architectural and structural drawings
  • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
  • Excellent project management and supervision skills
  • Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices
