Job Summary
Coordinate active construction projects by supporting project managers with planning, scheduling, and subcontractor activity management. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, prepare production reports, quantity tracking data, and field documentation. Assist with procurement, quantity takeoffs, pricing requests, and reviewing supplier proposals for completeness. Communicate effectively with field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and design teams to maintain project organization and compliance. This early-career opportunity focuses on large, complex civil construction projects within Ohio and the Midwest.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred
- Equivalent construction industry experience (minimum two years) will also be considered
- Desire to build a long-term career within heavy civil construction
