Job Summary
Coordinate active construction projects by assisting with planning, scheduling, and procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, review supplier proposals, and prepare documentation including production reports, quantity tracking, and field reports. Communicate with field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and design teams to ensure projects remain organized and compliant. Support project managers and superintendents from preconstruction through completion while managing subcontractor activities. This role offers hands-on experience on large, complex civil infrastructure projects within Ohio and the Midwest.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred
- Equivalent construction industry experience (minimum two years) will also be considered
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Desire to build a long-term career within heavy civil construction
