Job Summary
Coordinate active construction projects by supporting planning, scheduling, and subcontractor management while conducting regular site visits to monitor progress. Assist with procurement of materials and equipment, prepare project documentation including production reports and quantity tracking, and review supplier proposals for completeness. Communicate effectively with field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and design teams to ensure projects remain organized and compliant. Assist with quantity takeoffs, pricing requests, and estimating activities to help maintain project schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred
- Equivalent construction industry experience (minimum two years) will also be considered
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Desire to build a long-term career within heavy civil construction
