Job Summary
Coordinate daily project activities by managing documentation, communication, and follow-up while developing expertise in drawings, specifications, and subcontractor agreements. Prepare, track, and distribute RFIs and submittals to ensure compliance, maintain comprehensive project logs, and support material procurement by monitoring lead times and schedule impacts. Document meeting minutes, identify cost impacts from changes, and lead the punch list and closeout process. Participate in QA/QC processes, field walks, and safety observations while attending scheduling discussions to understand project sequencing. Build relationships with owners, design partners, and subcontractors to escalate issues and resolve practical problems in a fast-paced environment. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering, 1–3 years of construction experience, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Revit, or Navisworks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Internship or construction-related experience preferred
- 1–3 years of construction-related experience preferred
- Basic understanding of commercial construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documentation preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to track, organize, and follow up on project information
- Ability to manage individual time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to solve practical problems, ask thoughtful questions, and seek guidance when needed
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn from office and field team members
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft 365, Revit, Navisworks, or similar construction technology preferred
- OSHA 30, stormwater, QA/QC, or other project-related training preferred or ability to complete after hire
- Ability to work in both office and active construction jobsite environments
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, and navigate uneven terrain
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment when on jobsites
- Ability to use a computer, phone, and standard office equipment for extended periods of time
