Job Summary
Maintain construction schedules and budgets while managing subcontractors, site inspections, and completed work punch lists. Troubleshoot schedule-impacting issues and surface concerns to business leaders as needed. Execute project controls management including submittals, document management, change management, and quality control. Review change orders, solicit subcontractor pricing, and amend budgets to reflect specification changes. Process submittal data and drawings to expedite schedules and ensure timely material delivery. Assist preconstruction with quantity take-offs, bid packages, and estimate preparation. Support project management by managing budgets, expenses, and attending Owner-Architect-Contractor meetings to prepare progress reports.
Required Qualifications
- Internship or field experience in construction
- Strong organizational, time-management and project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment
- Critical thinker and self-starter capable of accomplishing a task with limited guidance and supervision
