Job Summary
Perform technical simulations and yield assessments using PVsyst and WindPro to define optimal configurations for solar PV and wind power plants. Prepare technical specifications and equipment BOQs, including sizing of inverters, MV stations, and balance-of-system components. Evaluate shading impacts to recommend mitigation strategies and analyze grid connection options for cost and technical feasibility. Design string configurations, electrical connection diagrams, and PV string-to-inverter mappings while collaborating with project managers, GIS teams, and external consultants. Support the permitting, tendering, and procurement process with relevant technical inputs. Requires a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy with 5+ years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the design or engineering of solar and/or wind power plants
- Proficiency with PVsyst, WindPro, and Microsoft Excel
- Solid understanding of MV/LV electrical infrastructure in utility-scale renewable projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and create single-line diagrams (SLDs) and technical layouts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
