Job Summary
Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans while conferring with management. Determine project responsibilities by identifying phases and assigning personnel. Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; complete technical studies and prepare cost estimates. Confirm product performance by designing and conducting tests. Determine project schedules by studying plans and calculating time requirements. Maintain project schedules such as Gantt charts by monitoring progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems. Control project plans by reviewing designs and recommending actions. Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for seamless execution. Cooperate with cross-functional teams to create efficient project methods. Report and escalate issues to management as necessary. Manage relationships with all stakeholders. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Prepare status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing trends. Conduct regular meetings and updates until project closure. Measure project performance using appropriate tools. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures. This remote position is for a client specializing in network test, monitoring, and assurance solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia & Information Technology, Infocomm Security Management, Computer Engineering or Electrical & Electronic Engineering
- 1 to 3 years of working experience handling IT project management, project engineering, or project planning (scope, schedule, cost, quality)
- Experience in field management
- Good understanding of project management, financial management and budgeting
- Self-motivated, proactive and possess good work attitude
- Analytical problem solvers who think in a systems perspective
- Ability to manage small details while keeping an eye on the big picture
- Well organised and able to prioritise activities and deliver projects on time in time pressured environment and within budget
- Ability to communicate effectively with all team members and stakeholders
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Deliver presentations with a logical mindset and ability to explain ideas and plans clearly
- Strong technical knowledge of IT technologies across infrastructure (Microsoft OS and servers, CISCO and networking)
- Understanding engineering disciplines such as mechanical, electrical and computer engineering
- Ability to understand complex system development methods and system testing practice
- Understanding of compliance and quality assurance guidelines and best practices
