Job Summary
Project Engineer role based in Mesa, AZ, supporting civil/underground construction projects with duties in estimating, bidding, contract administration, and submittal/document tracking. Responsibilities include organizing job files, evaluating bids from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with owner specs and government regulations, assisting project team with various duties, developing work scopes and progress tracking documents, and providing technical support to Project Managers. Requires familiarity with construction practices, bid software (HCSS preferred but not required), general software (Outlook, Word, Excel), and the ability to learn proprietary programs for federal and agency clients. Degree in Civil or Construction Management is a plus but not required; 1-3 years relevant experience; strong communication and organizational skills; ability to pass pre-employment screening.
