Job Summary
Manage the change management process and expedite material deliveries while adhering to project controls for monthly cost reporting and pay requests. Review and evaluate shop drawings accurately, contribute meaningful data to monthly cost report meetings, and coach less experienced team members. Develop business by identifying client needs and communicating Gilbane's value to prospective clients, while proactively reviewing customer feedback to ensure positive relations. Work within a large trade contractor environment, utilizing Procore and CMiC, to support the project team in maintaining timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- 4+ years of experience with a large trade contractor, construction management or general contractor organization
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Proven capability to establish specific measurable, attainable performance goals and hold others accountable for achieving them
- Demonstrated ability to build active team participation, team trust and strengthen positive interactions
- Ability to articulate financial knowledge and customer satisfaction awareness of how the company makes a profit
- Demonstrated ability to adapt personal communication style to suit the target audience and situation including highly effective presentations, clear and concise writing on complex and sensitive topics, and understanding through paraphrasing and use of relevant examples
- Financial management familiarity
- OSHA 30-hour certification
- MEP knowledge
- Understanding of contract documents & specifications
- Proficient in Procore
- Must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test
Desired Qualifications
- Expertise in CMiC preferred
