Job Summary
The Project Engineer is responsible for assisting project personnel in planning, directing, and coordinating project activities to meet goals within time and budget. Key responsibilities include communicating with stakeholders, assisting with pre-construction activities, interpreting designs and drawings, verifying work quantities, managing project documentation, ensuring compliance with codes, monitoring costs, and maintaining safety records. The role requires a bachelor's degree and related experience, along with strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret business documents, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, and fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must be knowledgeable about and follow the company’s safety policies and procedures
