Project Engineer

Examine estimates of material, equipment, and production costs to ensure completeness and accuracy, while compiling data for preparing estimates. Continually update job performance metrics from inception to completion and review bids from other firms for conformity to contract requirements. Coordinate all drawings and approvals from HQ and vendors to the GC and Owner, execute purchase orders with suppliers, and act as liaison between the company and general or subcontractors. Independently review specifications and building drawings to optimize material and labor requirements, and establish and maintain contact with external customers to resolve issues and manage relationships.
