Project Engineer

Project Engineer I supports both office and field operations by assisting with project planning, coordination, documentation, and execution to align with budget, schedule, and contract requirements. Applies engineering principles in soils mechanics, hydraulics, structural theory, and surveying while gaining hands-on field experience. Works closely with project managers, superintendents, and field teams to ensure project efficiency, compliance, and quality, while adhering to safety culture and company policies. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and 0-3 years of experience; proficiency in MS Office and ability to read construction documents; strong organizational and communication skills; valid driver’s license. Office tasks include cost estimates, proposals, material take-offs, and submittals; field tasks include site surveying, documentation, and coordination with subcontractors; travel to project sites as necessary for extended durations. This office/field hybrid role involves frequent computer use and potential exposure to construction environments.
