Job Summary
Conduct daily reviews of production schedules, shop drawings, and project data with engineering and field crews to confirm materials, equipment, and resources. Provide technical input for work plans and scheduling while identifying risks that could impact the budget or timeline. Evaluate daily performance projections, update weekly schedules for management reporting, and prepare three-week work plans to mitigate delays. Initiate and manage Requests for Information, coordinate subcontractor methods and crews, and remit accurate project quantities using cost coding. Manage invoicing with the accounting team and review certificates, permits, and Job Hazard Analyses to ensure compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 5+ years construction engineering experience
- Able to identify budget and project costs and recommend options to mitigate project delays
- Knowledge of design build and other alternative build techniques
- Knowledge of financial reporting methods, quantity tracking methods and cost coding
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in resource monitoring techniques (i.e. cost accounting, basic estimating) and construction technology, process systems and/or structures preferred
- Knowledge of construction scheduling and production time management preferred
