Job Summary
Review contract specifications, prepare schedule updates, and obtain pricing from subcontractors for change orders. Coordinate with suppliers and workforce to resolve project challenges, manage document control, and issue correspondence regarding revised plans. Assist the Project Manager with quantity reporting, monthly billing, cash flow projections, and project closeout while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and codes. Perform additional assignments per direction, including reviewing daily reports and preparing technical submittal lists. This project-based role in Orlando, FL, supports a civil construction leader specializing in highway and heavy civil projects across Florida.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 2+ years of construction engineering experience
- Beginner knowledge of construction equipment & techniques
- Beginner knowledge of drawing & specifications
- Beginner knowledge of building materials
- Beginner knowledge of required standards applicable to the project
- Ability to assume responsibility
- Ability to interface and communicate effectively with others
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
