Job Summary
Review contract specifications, prepare schedule updates, and obtain pricing from subcontractors and vendors for change orders. Requisition equipment and materials, coordinate with suppliers and workforce to resolve project challenges, and manage document control including submittal schedules and project drawings. Review daily reports for accuracy, prepare technical submittal lists, and comply with inspection and survey staking requirements. Assist with monthly billing, cash flow projections, change order processing, and project closeout while performing additional assignments per the Project Manager's direction. This role is project-based in Orlando, FL, requiring a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of construction engineering experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 2+ years of construction engineering experience
- Beginner knowledge of construction equipment & techniques
- Beginner knowledge of drawing & specifications
- Beginner knowledge of building materials
- Beginner knowledge of required standards applicable to the project
- Ability to assume responsibility
- Ability to interface and communicate effectively with others
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
