Project Engineer - Fairbanks, AK

Project Engineer based in North Pole, AK to assist in management of project operations including cost management, scheduling, billings, and project support. Responsibilities include ensuring site safety per Colaska policy and Goal Zero, assisting Site Superintendent(s) and Project Manager(s) with project operations, schedules, and cost management, knowledge of MUTCD and Alaska DOT Standards (AS 643) requirements, assisting with material billing, procurement, and transportation, developing long- and short-term schedules, attending pre-job and weekly meetings with agencies/owners, maintaining cost reports and billing quantities, regular coordination with Project Manager(s) and Site Superintendent(s), and handling roles reporting to the Project Engineer (e.g., Project Clerk, Project Engineer Intern). Willingness to work nights and weekends if required. Requires a bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of engineering experience, valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, team collaboration, safety orientation, supervisory skills, and certifications as a Traffic Control Supervisor (ATSSA) or IMSA Work Zone/Traffic Control credentials.
