Job Summary

Lead plant-based electrical and automation projects tied to manufacturing operations, equipment upgrades, and infrastructure modernization. Manage projects from initial planning through commissioning and operational turnover while supporting automation systems, PLCs, HMI/SCADA, and power distribution. Coordinate contractors, integrators, vendors, and internal teams to drive schedules, budgets, and technical reviews. Support troubleshooting, startup activities, and instrumentation calibration to improve plant reliability and operational efficiency. Operate independently within a complex industrial environment focused on capital project delivery, automation, and controls integration.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Roughly 7+ years of experience inside industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience leading or heavily supporting capital projects
  • Strong background involving automation
  • Strong background involving controls
  • Strong background involving instrumentation
  • Strong background involving industrial electrical systems
  • Strong background involving manufacturing operations
  • Experience with PLCs
  • Experience with SCADA/HMI systems
  • Experience with MCCs
  • Experience with VFDs
  • Experience with industrial controls
  • Experience with power distribution systems
  • Experience with platforms such as Allen-Bradley/Rockwell
  • Experience with platforms such as Siemens
  • Experience with platforms such as Schneider
  • Experience with similar industrial automation environments
  • Strong understanding of commissioning
  • Strong understanding of electrical troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of contractor/vendor coordination
  • Strong understanding of project execution
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment and process lines
  • Ability to operate independently
  • Ability to communicate effectively with operations, maintenance, vendors, contractors, and leadership
  • Experience inside continuous processes or complex manufacturing environments

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering strongly preferred
  • Experience inside continuous processes or complex manufacturing environments is highly attractive
