Job Summary
Project Engineer will serve as the key support to the Senior Project Manager on large-scale industrial construction projects, bridging project execution and cost forecasting. Responsibilities include estimating and budget support, cost analyses, and monitoring expenditures; coordinating with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Field Operations); assisting in scheduling development and milestones; vendor and subcontractor coordination; ensuring QA/QC and safety compliance; risk identification and mitigation; change orders and contract administration; preparing status reports and maintaining project documentation; and communicating with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in estimating, project coordination, or construction management
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to interpret and manage budgets, estimates, and cost reports
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and influence cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of construction industry practices, regulations, and safety standards
- Ability to travel to project sites as required.
