Project Engineer

Job Summary
Conduct estimating handoffs, manage field documents, and assist in establishing project schedules with the Project Manager. Create cost code allocations from initial estimates, coordinate prefabricated assemblies, and track all material deliveries while managing vendors. Assist with project change orders, bi-weekly job cost projections, and timely RFI issuance. Visit job sites and attend meetings to ensure the office and field have the latest drawings. Participate in job close out meetings, manage as-builts, and handle administrative duties including permit pulling and purchase tracking. This in-person role reports to a Senior Project Manager and does not qualify for hybrid or remote work.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Construction Management or Engineering
- Electrical construction knowledge gained through an apprenticeship program
- Must have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English
- Must have the demonstrated ability to cooperate
- Must have the demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple levels of customer, employees, unions, government agencies, vendors and suppliers, and other contractor organizations
- Must be able to navigate around job site locations
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds

- Will train on Construction related software such Accubid, Bluebeam, CAD
