Job Summary
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project objectives, scope, and schedule. Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analysis for proposed projects. Develop engineering designs, specifications, and drawings, while coordinating structural, electrical, and mechanical assessments. Prepare project plans, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions for delays. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, review contracts, and provide technical guidance to project teams. Conduct regular meetings to communicate updates and resolve issues with stakeholders. Prepare project reports, coordinate procurement, and maintain accurate documentation. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in an industrial or construction setting
- Strong technical knowledge in relevant engineering disciplines, such as civil, mechanical, or electrical
- Proficient in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera
- Valid Driving Licence
- Valid White Card
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Solid understanding of project budgeting and financial analysis
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both verbally and in writing
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work under pressure
- Flexibility to travel as needed for project site visits and meetings
