Job Summary

Conduct structural analysis and design for buildings and other structures, including frame and masonry components. Perform computer modeling and calculations while reviewing truss drawings for code compliance and preparing specifications and plans. Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and other trades to resolve conflicts and respond to RFIs. Perform on-site investigations to gather photos and dimensions, and research code and permitting requirements. Requires a Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and 0–1 year of related experience. Full-time exempt role with a Monday through Friday schedule of 40–50 hours, with occasional day trips to construction job sites.

Required Qualifications

  • 0–1 year experience related in structural/residential engineering related work
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or structural Engineering from four-year college or university
  • In the process, or have passed EIT examination
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient with AutoCAD
  • Prior experience using Revit software
