Job Summary
Project Engineer supporting the Project Manager and Project Superintendent; responsibilities include assisting with scheduling, quantity reporting, project costs and forecasting, obtaining pricing from subcontractors and vendors, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to resolve project challenges, assisting with monthly billing and cash flow projections, managing document control (submittal schedules, contract documents, project record drawings), preparing technical submittals and ensuring compliance with permits (including NPDES and SWPPP), and supporting project closeout and notices; requires strong communication and proficiency in Excel, Word, and Primavera P6.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Construction Engineering and Management (CEM)
- 5 - 8 years’ experience in the civil construction field (office/field role)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, Primavera 6
