Project Engineer

Job Summary
The Project Engineer will deliver capital water infrastructure projects across valves, hydrants, water pump stations, network renewals and water main replacements. You will support planning visits, concept reviews, and collaboration across design, scheduling, cost, procurement, estimating, quality assurance and safety teams to ensure delivery targets of time, cost, quality and safety are met. You will provide technical advice during the delivery phase, address issues promptly, build and maintain relationships with internal/external stakeholders, clients, subcontractors and colleagues, and contribute to a robust pipeline of long-term, local opportunities. The role is site-based and office-based in Beenleigh, Australia, and offers employee benefits, career development, and an opportunity to work within Downer’s Energy & Utilities business unit within the ASX-listed group.
Required Qualifications
- Degree qualification in civil or mechanical engineering
- Good communication skills
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with people
- Sound computer skills
