Job Summary
Manage and coordinate project teams, including E.I.T.s, CAD designers, sub-consultants, and contractors. Plan, schedule, and deliver the technical and financial aspects of land development projects while supporting construction phase services such as site visits, bid documents, submittal reviews, and pay applications. Interpret and resolve technical issues with minimal oversight and maintain effective communication between disciplines, clients, and regulatory agencies. Stay current with local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance. Conduct all business in a professional, ethical manner while mentoring junior staff. Travel overnight when required. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
- 5+ years of civil engineering experience, with a focus on land development projects
- Active P.E. license (or ability to obtain in state of employment)
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring E.I.T.s
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Project, and MS Office Suite
- Experience preparing technical deliverables (work plans, contracts, summary reports, project correspondence)
- Strong communication skills and ability to resolve technical challenges independently
- Travel overnight when required
