Project Engineer - Detroit

Job Summary

Conduct geometrics, grading, pavement design, and utility design for urban land development projects. Record drawings and specifications, prepare permit applications and cost estimates, and attend meetings. Perform construction administration tasks and conduct field visits. Work independently within a team environment led by a Partner in charge. This role supports context-sensitive solutions for revitalizing the City of Detroit. In-person collaboration and mentoring are paramount, with a potential hybrid schedule up to two days per week remotely.

Required Qualifications

  • civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited university or equivalent amount of applicable experience
  • At least 1-3 years of Civil Engineering experience
  • Must have experience in AutoCAD software

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in Civil3D
  • Experience with road, storm, sanitary and water design
  • Experience in Bluebeam
  • Exposure to Municipal and/or Private Development projects
