Job Summary
Project Engineer – Design and Development responsible for determining project needs and constraints, developing equipment specifications and construction drawings, preparing proposals and presentations, managing submittals to preserve scope and schedule, providing on-site engineering support for HVAC/BAS projects, coordinating commissioning activities, and preparing detailed engineering reports. Requires PE license and proficiency with Autodesk Revit/AutoCAD; role involves collaboration with owners, facilities managers, project engineers, and design engineers, with a focus on meeting customer facilities requirements and delivering quality engineering solutions on site.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Engineering (PE) License
- Ability to read blueprints and construction plans and specifications
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and controls
- Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD familiarity
- Strong communication skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Background check and drug test clearance
