Job Summary
Develop new and existing processes from concept to finished operating status, creating PFD drawings and material/energy balances while utilizing CAD for line drawings. Perform complex chemical engineering calculations and collaborate with R&D, Operations, and Sales teams to define scope and provide technical guidance. Deliver training on process improvements and maintain strong communication skills for EOD writing and presentations. Requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, 10+ years of process/project experience, and Six Sigma certification. Involves 50% travel and background screening.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- 10+ years of active process/project experience
- 50% travel
- Valid Driver's License
- Submit to and satisfactorily complete pre-employment background, medical, alcohol, and drug screening
- Good communication skills
- Capability of writing EOD
- Solid presentation skills
- Capable of developing PFD drawing
- Capable of producing material and energy balances
- Capable of using CAD programs
- Capable of performing complex chemical engineering calculations
- Must be able to work with R&D, Operations, Sales and all related teams
- Must be able to provide guidance and expertise
- Must be able to provide training
- Must be a team player
