Job Summary
Project Engineer focused on analyses, assessments, and testing of pile behavior in varying soil conditions; conducts dynamic testing, wave equation analysis, and signal matching; field testing with pile driving analyzers, strain gauges, accelerometers, and pile integrity testers; interpret data to assess pile integrity, load-bearing capacity, and dynamic response; collaborate with design teams to optimize pile design and construction based on field observations and analytical findings; develop detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings, recommendations, and conclusions for internal and external stakeholders; stay current with industry standards, codes, and best practices related to pile dynamics and foundation engineering; provide technical guidance and support to project teams during construction phases, including troubleshooting and problem-solving related to pile performance issues; participate in research and development initiatives to enhance methodologies, tools and technologies for assessing pile dynamics; recruit, train and supervise a team, including project managers, engineers, technicians and other support staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in pile dynamics analysis and testing
- Proficiency with specialized software for pile dynamics analysis
- Experience with field testing and instrumentation installation on construction sites
- Valid Florida Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass background check per Florida’s Jessica Lunsford Act (or equivalent state classification)
