Job Summary
Conduct contract drawing control, manage job management systems, and process submittal data to expedite project schedules. Prepare administrative logs for RFIs, RFPs, and document control while serving as the onsite quality manager for assigned trades. Coordinate building permits, site utilization plans, and proposal change documents with subcontractors and suppliers. Assist in preconstruction duties including quantity take-offs, budget development, and constructability reviews. Participate in project meetings, progress reports, and the Safety and Health Management System. Work alongside senior preconstruction team members to estimate projects and develop knowledge of the overall preconstruction process.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- 0-3 years of progressive construction related experience
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be willing to work non-traditional hours, including early mornings and evenings, to meet project needs
- Work may be performed in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions, including heat and cold
- Frequent physical activity includes standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching above shoulder level, pushing, and pulling
- Occasional activity includes sitting and using a computer or viewing a computer screen
- Some periodic travel may be required
