PROJECT ENGINEER

The Project Engineer is responsible for directing and coordinating all field construction activities to ensure the project is built to customer expectations, on time and within budget. They supervise day-to-day field construction, enforce quality control and safety measures, develop and implement site planning, logistics, QA/QC procedures, and ensure compliance with contract documents. Responsibilities include planning work with subcontractors, maintaining scheduling milestones, documenting progress with daily/weekly reports, conducting subcontractor and owner meetings, managing procurement and inventory, tracking costs and variances, producing As-Built drawings, and delivering project status reports. Key skills include strong planning, leadership, communication, problem solving, and the ability to meet tight schedules and cost targets, with experience in Primavera P6 and contract control software. Education requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture and a professional license, with CIAPR/CAAPR membership preferred. Salary varies with experience and performance.
