Job Summary
Own manufacturing jobs end-to-end from kickoff through final shipment; serve as the primary engineering contact for work orders; develop and release travelers, work instructions, routings, and BOMs; coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchasing, and Testing to keep on schedule; monitor risks to schedule/materials/tooling/manufacturability; provide floor support and resolve issues; lead MRB activities and dispositions; ensure ERP accuracy for work orders, BOMs, and engineering changes; communicate status and corrective actions to management; support continuous improvement in defects reduction and manufacturing efficiency; requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 5+ years in manufacturing/project engineering in aerospace/defense, with ability to lift 50 lbs and flexible hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace, or similar)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering or project engineering role
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
- Experience with ERP systems for work orders, BOMs, and revisions
- Experience participating in MRB activities and structured problem solving
- Proactive problem solver with continuous improvement mindset
- Strong ownership mentality and ability to push jobs to completion
- Comfortable in fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environments
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as required
- Knowledge of aerospace/military standards and regulated manufacturing environments
