Job Summary
Project Engineer role focusing on early-to-mid stage engineering projects with Lead Engineer oversight. Responsibilities include cooperating on project notebooks, familiarization with product design standards, observing design, testing and validation of new designs, monitoring project progress for quality against client specifications, assisting in preparation of interim/final reports and design review packages, and developing proficiency in interpretation of FEA. The position supports RFQ responses under Lead Engineer oversight, prepares cross-sectional drawings, and helps incorporate customer requirements while adhering to industry standards, lean process improvement goals, and proper documentation. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 0-2 years of related experience, strong English communication, and the ability to read and interpret technical procedures, regulations, and GD&T/blueprint data. The company offers a base salary between $77,000 and $93,000 depending on location and qualifications, plus a full benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering field
- 0-2 years of related experience and/or training
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports and procedures
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and technical documentation
- Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook) and basic ERP/inventory concepts
- Proficiency in basic stress and flow analysis and interpretation of engineering data
- Experience with design reviews and cooperation with lead engineers
