Project Engineer

Project Engineer at Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Lynnwood, WA. Lead cross-functional engineering efforts for aerospace/defense programs, providing engineering design evaluations, preparing schedules and cost estimates, translating customer specifications into design documentation, and supporting prototype-to-production transitions. Collaborate with marketing, manufacturing, quality assurance, purchasing, and customers to ensure designs meet electrical, environmental, and internal manufacturing requirements; may lead a team of engineers and provide technical support throughout the engineering process, including development testing and customer interactions. Maintain compliance with industry policies and regulatory requirements and interface with customers to develop specifications. Requires BS in engineering and 2–7 years of experience (Sr. Project Engineer requires 7+ years), with strong project management, documentation, and leadership skills; ability to operate in a matrixed organization and coordinate contributions across engineering teams.
