Job Summary
The Project Engineer role focuses on developing and supporting engineering projects related to powertrain/vehicle control systems in both the OE and aftermarket sectors. Responsibilities include developing statements of requirements, modifying data acquisition systems, researching innovative data collection methods, and interacting with customers to identify software needs. Engineers will conduct feasibility tests, maintain data standards, and provide technical information while contributing to project reports and presentations. The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree, expertise in vehicle systems calibration, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, preferred.
- Knowledge of OE & aftermarket engine, OBD, transmission or vehicle systems calibration, validation, and development.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of product development tools including data acquisition, management, and analysis tools
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
