Job Summary
Plan, organize, and control all elements of construction projects under the direction of a Project Manager. Assist in managing projects by reading blueprints, interpreting schedules and specifications, and executing quantity take-offs and estimating. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and employees while managing priorities and coaching others in vocational and administrative skills. Utilize MS Project, Procore, and Bluebeam to maintain organization in a fast-paced environment. Requires 1-4 years of construction industry experience and a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
Required Qualifications
- 1-4 Years of experience in the construction industry
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or equivalent
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain teamwork and a positive attitude
- Experience in the bid process with subcontractors
- Quantity take off and Estimating experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schedules, specifications, and other required construction documents
- Strong computer skills and intermediate experience in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, Outlook, Procore, and Bluebeam
- Highly organized with strong emphasis on self-motivation and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive-level external and internal clients
- Ability to identify and manage priorities
- Ability to manage and coach others in both vocational and administrative skills
- Capable of multi-tasking, problem-solving solving and can work in a team environment as well as independently
- Exhibits confidence, ambition, and self-motivation
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
