Job Summary
Direct and coordinate construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements. Supervise and train project team members as necessary while inspecting work and preparing specifications for material and equipment purchases. Follow projects from design to completion, utilizing Sage Timberline, Primavera Suretrak, and Microsoft Office Suite. Read blueprints and communicate verbally and in writing to solve problems and manage time effectively. This role requires a minimum 40-hour workweek, with potential evening, weekend, and holiday work during busy seasons. Occasional travel to job sites and meetings may be required. Candidates must meet eligibility for a government security investigation for access to classified information.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in project management
- Sage Timberline
- Primavera Suretrak
- Microsoft Office Suite software
- Undergraduate degree in engineering, construction management, or related degree, or equivalent experience in a construction-related position
- Prior experience in directing and coordinating the construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements, as well as inspecting
- Knowledge of preparing specifications for the purchase of materials and equipment
- Supervising and training project team members as necessary
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- The ability to travel with possible short-term relocation, as required
- The ability to read blueprints
