Job Summary
Project Engineer to support operations on ongoing jobs, involved in initial project setup, cost spread/estimate familiarity, job quantity tracking, on-site daily activity, material and equipment tracking, invoice coding and approval, change orders, job cost reporting, safety and quality control compliance, and production analysis. Requires travel to jobsites (about 50%). Responsibilities include project sequencing/scheduling, coordination with GC/Owner and CSI Operations manager regarding manpower/resources, and implementing cost controls while maintaining safety and quality standards. Bachelor's degree in Construction management or engineering is recommended; 0-5 years of experience expected. Candidate should be able to communicate effectively, plan and control work, identify issues, and drive continuous improvement across project teams.
Required Qualifications
- 0-5 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Construction management or Engineer recommended
- Basic/General knowledge of construction principles/practices required
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals
- Energetic and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
- Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on own as well as in a team environment
- Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi floor scaffolding
