Project Engineer (Commercial Contruction)

Job Summary
Prepare and manage submittals and RFIs, review incoming documents prior to sending to the owner, and update project baseline and weekly schedules. Assist in managing work plans, post plans, and the pre-plan process while performing quantity take-offs and preparing proposals. Participate in project safety meetings, create weekly agendas, and manage environmental permits and regulations. Maintain project document control with an understanding of engineering, architectural, and construction drawings. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture, a valid driver's license, and knowledge of Procore, MS Project, and Bluebeam. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management/Engineering, Architecture, or a relevant Engineering field or Construction Management Certification
- A valid driver's license and acceptable driving history
- Good communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- An understanding of engineering, architectural, and other construction drawings
- Be knowledgeable about construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Familiarity with computers and software programs for job costing, reporting, online collaboration, scheduling, and estimating
- Be open to learning
- Disciplined and systems-driven
- Detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently
- Have a genuine interest in helping team members
- Positive and pro-active attitude
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and Bluebeam preferred
