Job Summary
Project Engineer for commercial landscape/construction projects in Tacoma, WA. Supports project management and field teams with documentation, coordination, and reporting; responsibilities include coordinating with the Project Manager, preparing and processing submittals, maintaining project documentation (RFIs, submittals, drawings, revisions), supporting as-built drawings and project records, tracking change orders, assisting with job cost tracking and billing, ensuring compliance-related documentation, coordinating with field teams to gather production data and daily progress updates, and assisting with project closeout (final documentation, manuals, warranties).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent level of experience
- Experience with landscape, irrigation, civil, or environmentally focused construction work
- At least 1 year experience in a project support or coordination role within construction
- Familiarity with construction documentation, drawings, and submittal workflows
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and construction management platforms
