Project Engineer, Commercial Construction

Project Engineer in Graycor's Engineering Mentoring Program with a 24-month career-rotation across departments. Responsibilities include assisting the Project Manager and Superintendent with project controls and safety/quality programs; developing and maintaining the critical-path schedule, creating short-term look-ahead schedules, and applying Lean Construction techniques; maintaining project documentation and expediting deliverables to Owners, Architects, and Engineers; assisting in procurement and tracking delivery of equipment/materials; evaluating subcontractor and vendor performance; and assisting in estimating and bid preparation. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related technical field and 0-3 years of relevant internship/post-undergraduate experience, with the ability to travel extensively and reside at project sites. Strong communication, problem-solving, and MS Office skills are expected; familiarity with Primavera P6, WinEst, and On-Screen Takeoff is a plus.
